Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our client's Miami Office with 5+ years of law firm experience.

The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive organizational and practice-specific support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through post-trial proceedings. This includes conducting legal and factual research, managing discovery including ESI, supporting depositions, and preparing expert-related materials. The role requires a highly professional, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently, and work both independently and collaboratively. The paralegal will oversee the maintenance and organization of documents and case-related materials. Responsibilities also include coordinating and conducting document reviews and productions, drafting pleadings, motions, and notices, and assisting in law and motion practice, including assembling motion papers and coordinating filings. The paralegal will assist in performing cite-checking, proofreading, and formatting legal documents, preparing trial materials such as notebooks and exhibits, managing witness schedules, and supporting post-trial filings and appeals. Familiarity with both federal and state procedural and evidentiary rules is essential to ensure compliance in filings and document formatting. The role also includes performing legal and fact research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis, tracking time daily, and supporting other departmental activities as needed. Experience with bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation is a plus. Candidates must have knowledge of, and ability to electronically file pleadings through the CM/ECF system for federal courts, as well as statewide through the Florida Court’s e-Filing Portal. Degree and/or paralegal certificate required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus. Strong working knowledge of MSOffice, Relativity, Concordance, LAW, Best Case, Excel and PowerPoint required.
