Litigation Paralegal
to join its fast-paced and collaborative legal team. This is your chance to make a direct impact by supporting attorneys through every stage of the litigation process while working on cases that truly matter. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing critical case documents, conducting research, and ensuring trial readiness. Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal:
Organize and manage case files, including pleadings, discovery, and trial exhibits. Conduct legal research and compile case-relevant information. Draft, proofread, and file motions, briefs, and discovery responses. Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination. Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel to manage schedules and updates. Stay current with Rhode Island court rules and procedures to ensure compliance. Handle additional litigation support tasks as needed.
Qualifications of the Litigation Paralegal:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience. Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program. Proficiency in Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Rhode Island state and federal court procedures (highly preferred).
