Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to litigation, family law, immigration law, and environmental law. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in legal research and documentation processes. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings while ensuring compliance with legal standards. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Manage case files and maintain accurate records using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw. Perform document review and analysis to identify relevant information for ongoing litigation. Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases. Draft correspondence and legal documents with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in writing and proofreading. Organize case materials for trial preparation, including exhibits and witness lists. Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, and court personnel while demonstrating professional phone etiquette. Assist in project management tasks related to case timelines and deadlines. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to various areas of practice such as UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, estate planning, etc. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience in a litigation environment is essential. Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to various fields of law. Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw). Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and transcription. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Familiarity with document management systems (iManage) and case management software (PCLaw). Experience in administrative roles within a law office setting is preferred. Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of project management principles as they relate to legal processes is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities.
