As we continue to grow, we’re looking for our first Head of Talent Acquisition — someone who lives and breathes recruiting, thrives on building relationships, and knows how to bring the best people into a high-growth company. This is a rare opportunity to build our recruiting function from the ground up and play a critical role in shaping the future of our team. What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Strategy

Own the entire recruiting process: sourcing, outreach, interviews, and closing Actively headhunt and poach top performers from leading companies in real estate, fintech, and tech Partner with founders and hiring managers to deeply understand business needs and define ideal candidate profiles Build a scalable recruiting strategy to keep us ahead of hiring needs as we grow Networking & Market Presence

Represent YouLand at industry conferences, networking events, and recruiting forums Build strong relationships with top talent, industry leaders, recruiters, and communities Develop YouLand’s employer brand so we’re recognized as the go-to place for ambitious talent in real estate fintech Run creative outbound campaigns (events, meetups, targeted outreach) to attract exceptional candidates Systems & Process

Set up and manage our recruiting stack (ATS, sourcing tools, referrals, etc.) Track metrics on sourcing, pipeline health, and hiring velocity to continuously optimize Create a seamless, high-touch candidate experience from first contact to close Who You Are

4+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience , ideally in startups or high-growth environments A proven headhunter with a track record of poaching and closing top talent An exceptional networker who thrives at events, on LinkedIn, and in building long-term relationships Confident, persuasive, and able to excite candidates about YouLand’s vision and opportunity Highly organized, process-driven, and relentless in pursuing top performers Local to the Bay Area — this is an in-person role with the team Nice to Have

Experience building a recruiting function from scratch Exposure to real estate, fintech, or financial services recruiting Ability to recruit across both technical and business roles Why YouLand?
