Overview REACH Chief Financial Officer is responsible for oversight of all financial activities of REACH CDC, as well as its portfolio of 43 related real estate entities. The CFO manages all accounting functions, ensuring timely monthly financial reporting for REACH CDC and the consolidated statements of all its affiliates. The CFO is responsible for managing and reporting on compliance to its investors and funders. The CFO will ensure there is timely completion of REACH CDC and its 43 property-related entities on audits and tax returns, working closely with our external auditors. The CFO is responsible for ensuring all financial processes and procedures are in place to maintain all auditing requirements are being met for internal controls. The CFO will manage a financial team that oversees all day-to-day fiscal operations, and one who encourages and supports companywide collaborations and information sharing.

Qualifications
10+ years of non-profit affordable housing accounting and finance experience, preferably 4+ years within Residential Housing, Commercial Real Estate Development, or related experience. Experience as a collaborative and strong contributor to an executive team, with a track record of building effective internal and external relationships. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial principles to diverse audiences, including Board members and staff at all levels. A strategic business perspective with the ability to manage property and corporate budgeting processes involving complex contracts, and knowledge of financial risk within treasury functions and strategies. An affinity for technology solutions to create more effective, efficient, and streamlined accounting, finance, and business operations processes. Ability to hire, retain, motivate, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing Accounting and Finance Team. Demonstrated track record of investing, budgeting, and treasury / cash management experience.
