Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. We care deeply about the people who use our products and collaborate closely with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and for Google’s business. In this role, you’ll be a user advocate, working with research to design innovative experiences. You’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. You’ll collaborate with design partners to evolve the Google design language and build products people love to use. What you’ll do

Drive Google Meet's AI strategy through cross-functional alignment and deliverables. Collaborate with other designers and design managers across Meet and Workspace products. Collaborate with research to understand pain points and opportunity areas. Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to create solutions that balance business and user needs. Develop user journeys, designs, prototypes, and presentations to communicate design ideas. Responsibilities

Responsibilities aligned with the role include driving strategy and delivering cross-functional design artifacts for Meet and Workspace products. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design. Experience with prototyping (e.g., wireframes). Experience with motion design in product design or UX/UI animation. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications

Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. 2 years of experience leading design projects. Experience with visual design in product or UX design environments. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. Compensation and location The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share the specific salary for your preferred location during the hiring process. Compensation details reflect base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are listed separately. Note: The hybrid workplace includes remote and in-office roles. You will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: In-office locations: Kirkland, WA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA.
