Review and respond to approximately 300 facility-related alarm notifications (including differential pressure, temperature, humidity, and other critical parameters). Diagnose and troubleshoot root causes of alarms, coordinate repairs, and verify return to normal conditions. Maintain accurate records of alarm responses, actions taken, and outcomes. Instrument calibration and maintenance; manage the maintenance schedule for all calibrated instruments and equipment using the Blue Mountain CMMS. Coordinate calibrations, preventative maintenance, and repairs with internal teams and vendors; ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., GMP, ISO). Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in alarm handling, maintenance, or calibration; recommend and implement process improvements, equipment upgrades, and documentation enhancements. Assist in developing SOPs and training materials for alarm response and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to address facility-related issues. Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Facilities Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in facilities monitoring, equipment maintenance, or calibration within a regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or manufacturing). Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience using CMMS platforms (e.g., Blue Mountain or similar systems) for scheduling and documentation. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of environmental control systems, including HVAC, differential pressure, temperature, and humidity monitoring. Knowledge of instrument calibration and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot facility-related alarms and equipment malfunctions. Proficiency in documenting maintenance and alarm response actions in compliance with quality standards. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventative actions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical data and sensor readings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting incidents and interacting with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Operations, and external vendors. Experience participating in or leading process improvement initiatives. Ability to develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and training materials. Compensation & Availability: National (US) Range: $85,000 - $131,685 USD For US geography, salary is shown; actual salary depends on factors such as background, location, and market conditions.
