Facilities Integration Consultant

The Facilities Integration Consultant supports the stabilization and optimization of facilities management operations by aligning strategy, technology, and operational practices. This role ensures that facility asset lifecycle related tools, data systems, and integration efforts directly enhance building operations, maintenance programs, workforce efficiency, and mission readiness. Key Responsibilities: Assess & Strategize Evaluate current facilities management practices, systems, and workflows to identify gaps and opportunities for digital integration. Develop roadmaps that align digital initiatives with operational priorities such as preventive maintenance, energy optimization, sustainability, and workforce efficiency. System Migration & Integration Lead the transition from legacy systems (e.g., paper-based work orders, outdated CMMS) to modern, integrated platforms. Ensure interoperability between Building Information Management (BIM), CMMS, and enterprise asset management tools. Align data structures to support condition-based maintenance and lifecycle asset management. Development & Enablement Work with facilities teams to design tools, dashboards, and processes that enhance daily operations (e.g., automated work order routing, space utilization analytics, real-time asset health monitoring). Develop operational playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for digital facilities management. Embed performance tracking metrics into facilities operations to measure uptime, response times, and efficiency gains. Deployment & Support Support phased rollouts of digital facilities solutions across sites while minimizing operational disruption. Train and mentor facilities management staff to adopt digital practices, ensuring usability and long-term sustainability. Provide ongoing advisory support, troubleshooting, and optimization of digital workflows. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and sustainability requirements. Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Data Science or related discipline. 2-5 years of experience in facilities management, operations consulting, or digital transformation of building systems. Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety), CMMS/EAM platforms, and building automation technologies. Demonstrated experience in process improvement, data-driven operations, and facilities workforce enablement. Excellent independent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Credentials Experience with BIM, digital twin technology, or IoT-enabled facility solutions. Experience with data visualization and business information systems. Familiarity with ISO 55001, sustainability standards (LEED, WELL), or federal facility compliance frameworks.
