A well-established and growing general contractor based in Chicago is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Job Description
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects from start to finish. Support the Project Manager in managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Track project progress, budgets, and documentation. Help prepare and review contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals. Attend site visits and project meetings to ensure alignment across teams. Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. 2-4 years of experience in construction project management or coordination. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
