Test Technician Location:
St. Charles, Illinois Schedule:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Pay Rate:
$26.00/hr Responsibilities
Perform electrical Highpot testing and related activities to ensure circuits and components meet design and industry standards. Complete all required test inspection checklists and documentation for shipment. Set up and operate test equipment as needed. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical switchgear. Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, test equipment, and PPE required for duties. Perform other duties as assigned. On-site attendance is required. Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational and customer commitments. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical
education/experience. Minimum 1 year of experience with switchgear, mechanical or electrical system testing, and related work. Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365. Strong troubleshooting abilities and capable of making critical decisions. Basic understanding of test data types and documentation. Success Factors / Job Competencies:
