TalentFish is casting a line for an
IT Project Manager ! This is a full-time remote role (Must reside in NYC) Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Program Management Office, the IT Project Manager will work with global stakeholders, sponsors, and team members to plan and execute IT and technical projects and programs as part of the Global IT PMO team. What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
Lead small to moderate complexity projects and support the delivery of larger programs under Senior PM or PMO guidance.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk/issue trackers, and status reports.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, capture key decisions, and follow up on assigned tasks.
Routinely update project tools with accurate, timely information on progress.
Define project scope, goals, timelines, and resources required; acquire needed resources and participants to achieve goals within deadlines and budgets.
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Lead project team adoption of the Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through coaching and process articulation.
Lead complex and high-priority projects through SDLC stages/phases while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
Create artifacts and documentation such as Project Charters, Project Plans, Deployment/Rollout Strategies, and other PM deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations; conduct postmortems and implement recommendations.
Assist with requirements gathering, data analysis, and defining operational procedures.
Facilitate coordination and collaboration between department stakeholders, project leadership, and team members.
Use critical thinking to offer optimization solutions to processes and technology.
Monitor project progress, identify/mitigate risks, and manage scope/budget changes effectively.
Work occasional non-standard hours to support global stakeholders in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
Travel occasionally for team meetings or program needs.
What You'll Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
At least 7+ years of experience supporting technology projects/programs within IT groups.
At least 3+ years of Agile, SCRUM, or hybrid waterfall/Agile experience.
PMP, CAPM, CSM, or similar Project Management certification preferred.
Expert knowledge of project management best practices.
Advanced knowledge of software development procedures and tools.
Strong understanding of ITSM policies, standards, and procedures.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, Portfolio, and Structure.
Advanced understanding of technical terms, documentation, and technologies.
Strong knowledge of customer service practices and philosophy.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is
$130,000 to $170,000 per year,
depending on experience and qualifications. This role also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
