Job Description Salary: Located in St. Louis, CPG Agency is an award-winning experiential agency within the Nitrous Effect collective. We specialize in designing and executing high-end experiences for corporate clients. In our 40th year, CPG creates award-winning work in an environment of collaboration, strategic thinking, and growth. We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Video Editor/Producer to join our dynamic experiential and event production team. The ideal candidate is a visionary storyteller with advanced video editing capabilities, a strong portfolio showcasing creative leadership, and hands-on experience in camera operation. This role requires someone who can seamlessly transition between leading a project's creative direction and executing the technical aspects of video production, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering impactful video content. You'll need to be a self-starter, comfortable and proficient with all aspects of video production, including independent camera operation. Responsibilities Lead the creative direction and visual storytelling for diverse video projects. From initial concept through final delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines, all while making it work within budget. Perform advanced video editing tasks, including but not limited to, multi-camera editing, color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects. Perform motion graphics video editing tasks, including but not limited to, logo animations, full screen name & title graphics, and transitions. Manage all stages of video post-production, including organizing footage and creative assets, creating production timelines, provide music selections for client approval and implementing feedback efficiently. Excellent client relations skills: able to deliver on client requests while proactively offering alternative solutions when editorial decisions, scope, or budget constraints require it. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Executive Producers, Creative Directors, and Account Directors, to ensure seamless project execution. Independently plan, set up, and execute video shoots using professional cameras and lighting equipment. This includes capturing high-quality footage at live events, activations, and other locations as needed. Qualifications/Skills 5-7 years of professional experience in video production, with a strong emphasis on editing and creative leadership within an agency or similar fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Demonstrated experience in leading creative direction for diverse video projects, evidenced by a strong portfolio. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, impactful video content. Videographer skills a plus Experience using AI tools for video storyboarding, video content creation, and work efficiency. Ability to work independently and efficiently while ensuring all video content is delivered on time and within budget. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams in meetings and e-mails.
