Mariner Sands Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Land Maintenance Spray Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our beautiful community by ensuring the health and safety of our common areas through effective land management practices.

Key Responsibilities: - Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to maintain the health and appearance of golf courses, landscaping, and other common areas - Operate and maintain spraying equipment in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer instructions - Monitor and assess land conditions to determine appropriate treatment schedules and methods - Follow environmental regulations and safety protocols during all land maintenance activities - Keep detailed records of chemical applications, equipment maintenance, and land conditions - Collaborate with groundskeeping and maintenance teams to ensure cohesive land management efforts - Assist with other landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in land maintenance, landscaping, or related field, with specific experience in chemical application preferred - Valid pesticide applicator license or certification as required by local regulations - Knowledge of safe handling and application of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides - Ability to operate and maintain spraying equipment and other landscaping tools - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards - Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team - Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions

Qualifications : Able to identify various flowers, shrubs, and trees. Experience in applying fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides. Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products. Able to keep records and paperwork. Candidates must have good communication skills, organized, possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Candidate must have the ability to be a team member and be able to perform with minimum supervision.
