Job Description Salary: $19.00-$23.75 General Description: The YHDP Project Manager provides strategic leadership for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program, ensuring services are delivered in alignment with HUD guidelines, grant requirements, and agency standards. This position drives collaboration with community partners, empowers staff through training and supervision, and ensures youth ages 1424 receive equitable access to housing, education, and employment resources. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in human services, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience or knowledge of homelessness services preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid drivers license and insurable driving record. Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and required clearances. Job Duties & Responsibilities 1. Program Oversight & Compliance Manage YHDP program to meet all grant goals, objectives, and compliance standards. Ensure YHDP data is accurately collected, entered, and evaluated in HMIS and BestNotes. Maintain full compliance with HUD regulations and ensure requirements are reflected across all housing projects. Complete grant reports in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. 2. Team Development & Leadership Provide consistent team support, supervision, and training using Supervise for Success principles. Model resilience, professionalism, and teamwork by working alongside staff, participating in on-call rotation, facilitating groups, and immersing in programming. Build and support a strong Youth Action Board that empowers participant voice, youth leadership, and long-term self-sufficiency. Provide coaching and ongoing professional development to staff in best practices for working with youth at risk of homelessness. 3. Collaboration & Strategic Engagement Build and sustain community partnerships with housing providers, schools, employers, healthcare systems, and other stakeholders. Represent YES House and YHDP in local, state, and federal collaborations, including calls, meetings, and webinars. Implement corrective actions when performance targets are missed and hold self and others accountable for results. Adapt to program needs with flexibility, completing duties beyond those listed and working evenings, weekends, or on-call as required. Skills & Abilities Strong oral and written communication skills. Highly organized, thorough, and proactive. Effective time management in a fast-paced environment. Skilled at crisis management and problem-solving. Positive work ethic with willingness to adapt, learn, and grow with evolving best practices. Ability to foster a positive, healthy, and collaborative team culture. Flexibility to adjust responsibilities as program and client needs change.
