TMB, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a

Project Controller

to join our corporate Finance and Accounting team. The Project Controller will perform duties to include managing the financial performance of contracts, reviewing and approving program financial transactions, reviewing and approving invoices, conducting financial reporting for program and corporate reviews, processing purchasing documentation as required, and ensuring all transactions conform with federal, state and local regulations for assigned contract(s). The Project Controller will report directly to the Senior Finance and Accounting Analyst. Manage financial execution of assigned contracts by reviewing labor and Travel/ODC reports, and identifying any corrections needed with respect to funding lines. Maintain and update internal spend plans and financials, incorporating execution data, personnel changes, etc. Review and approve accounting documents to include Accounts Payable vouchers and TMB invoices and coordinate with accounting regarding any required changes. Prepare TMB invoice backup reports and submit them to customers as required. Develop estimate to and estimate at completion calculations as well as limitation of cost and limitation of funding amounts and dates. Coordinate with Contracts to ensure customers are notified. Identify subcontractor funding requirements and develop purchasing documentation and submit to Contracts for processing. Analyze unbilled amount, and develop and execute a plan of action to resolve the unbilled amount. Coordinate with Contracts in the event a request for additional funding is required. Prepare project financial projects for current and future contract years for program and corporate Assist in preparing and conducting financial reporting for program and corporate reviews. Assist in developing contract year pricing for assigned contracts. Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures. Participate in internal contract kick-off meetings. Assist with the establishment and maintenance of UNANET project profiles for assigned contracts, including assigning new project codes, processing project update forms, and project assignments. Responsible for financial reconciliations, de-obligations and contract close-out analysis for completed contracts/contract years. Coordinate with the CFO and Contracts Department regarding over/under runs, funding requirements and related actions for contract closeouts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 1-3 years of technical experience in Department of Defense, contracting, finance, project financials and/or accounting environments. Familiarity with UNANET accounting system and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) a plus. Willingness to learn and ability to apply critical thinking and analysis skills to assigned tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to interface with Senior and Executive level personnel, customers and employees. Ability to work with geographically separated programs and people and in a fast-paced and professional environment with tight deadlines. Familiarity with FAR, DFARs, and JTR. Familiarity with Cost-Type, Time and Material, and Firm Fixed Price type agreements. Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance. Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. Outstanding time management and organization skills. Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Ability to be able to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions. Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
