How You'll Contribute
Lead the accounting team and oversee AP, AR, JEs, reconciliations, GL, assist with month end closing, etc. Review and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Work with Executive and Asset Management on ad hoc projects as needed. Manage monthly and annual reporting requirements. Manage year end audit/review for multiple portfolios to deliver timely and accurate financial statements including a variance analysis. Drive change -maintain and improve processes, assist in responding to complex questions. Develop internal policies and ensure internal controls. Provide accurate and timely accounting work; manage multiple deadlines and staff in a fast-paced environment. Prepare budget to actual variance analysis, cash flow and rolling cash flow projections. Assist with the portfolio acquisition process-review closing statements, lender statements, and an escrow analysis; prepare opening and closing entries post transaction. Review tax returns, tax return supporting schedules, and K-1s for accuracy; coordinate with external accountants as necessary.
About You Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus. Experience in skilled nursing facilities, post-acute, healthcare REIT, institutional real estate management space, or commercial real estate industry. 5+ years of management experience. Proficient in Excel, Yardi and similar accounting/asset management platforms preferred.
Salary Range: Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $150,000 - $200,000 annualized, not including other competitive benefits.
