We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machinist III to join our dynamic team in Sharon, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Set up and operate CNC machines and manual lathes, mills, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues. Train and mentor junior machinists and apprentices as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, with a strong understanding of CNC programming. Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers and micrometers. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Access to our facility (and, therefore, employment) is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States and properly-licensed foreign persons.
