Maintenance Supervisor
to take charge of a high-tech production facility and lead a team dedicated to keeping operations running at peak performance. In this role, you will oversee a team of skilled technicians, optimize maintenance strategies, and collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement—all while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities:
Maintenance Leadership & Team Development
Provide direct supervision and hands-on support to maintenance technicians, machinists, and mechanics. Assign and oversee work to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks. Offer guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance technical skills and team effectiveness. Lead by example, performing maintenance tasks alongside the team when needed. Equipment Performance & Preventative Maintenance
Implement and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime. Assess, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to support production goals. Work closely with production staff to suggest machine improvements and maintenance procedures. Ensure maintenance work orders are properly managed and completed on schedule. Manage spare parts inventory to prevent delays in repairs. Process Improvement & Compliance
Develop and improve standard operating procedures for the maintenance department. Plan and implement operational and mechanical improvements to enhance efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Enforce all OSHA and company safety policies to create a safe work environment. Collaborate with upper management and production teams to resolve maintenance challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Vendor Management
Work with production, quality, and operations teams to maintain a smooth workflow. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for equipment servicing and repairs. Ensure all plant and facility equipment meets safety and operational standards. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Skills & Experience
:
Experience : 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance role, preferably in a food manufacturing setting Leadership : 5+ years of experience leading a maintenance team, strongly preferred Knowledge:
Maintenance best practices, quality systems, & safety regulations, required Software:
Microsoft Office Suite, ERP & statistical software experience, strongly preferred What
