You'll work from 7 PM to 7 AM on Thursday to Saturday, with rotating shifts on Wednesdays, earning $30 per hour plus a $1.25 night differential. Key Responsibilities

Refine processes through preventative maintenance and timely equipment care. Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, ensuring compliance with cleanliness protocols. Professionally address emergency maintenance calls to sustain productivity levels. Install and repair HVAC systems to maintain a comfortable building environment. Dispose of waste per environmental laws and guidelines. Keep the facility illuminated by addressing wiring and fixture issues. Track and assess downtime records to enhance machine efficiency. Commit to safety procedures such as Lock-out, Tag-out and chemical safety measures. Drive continuous improvement with strategic analyses and staff feedback on operations. Enhance technical capabilities by engaging in further educational courses and technical training. Pass the necessary certifications, including those related to irradiator operating and electricity safety standards. Efficiently manage digital tools for logging and updating maintenance tasks. Foster teamwork and adhere to STERIS's professional codes and policies. Qualifications & Competencies

Must-Haves: Completion of High School education or GED. Working knowledge in fields such as mechanics, electricity, pneumatics. Proficiency with digital tools for document creation and data management. Blueprint and schematic reading capabilities. Physical strength for lifting tasks up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills. Capacity to function in hot or humid areas requiring a respirator. Nice-to-Haves: Programming experience with PLC or similar control systems is beneficial. Advanced problem-solving with the use of arithmetic for precise solutions. Strong organizational skills to work independently yet effectively under supervision. Openness to ongoing responsibility adjustments and variety in duties. Experienced in maintaining professional relationships and communication.
