Immediate Opening: Part-Time Custodian - Florence, SC

is seeking a
reliable and experienced Part-Time Custodian
to help maintain a
clean, safe, and welcoming environment
at a local church. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and has experience with
room setups for events
.
Compensation:
$14.00/hour B.O.E
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Rotating every 3rd Sunday
Weekend work as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean rooms for meetings, events, weddings, funerals, and other gatherings
Assist in kitchen duties: lifting trays, washing dishes, general clean-up
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain classrooms, offices, and hallways
Perform light maintenance: changing bulbs, minor repairs, painting, unclogging drains, operating power tools
Operate floor cleaning equipment: vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners
Open and secure the facility daily and after events
Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Qualifications:
Previous custodian experience required
Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate clearly
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Mechanically inclined with basic maintenance skills

Pay Details:
$14.00 per hour
