Responsibilities The Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and preparation phases of Electrical projects within our division. This role entails coordinating plan details, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials necessary for project completion. The Pre-Construction Manager will compile and organize all project documentation from permit acquisition to project close-out, requiring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities: Project Setup:
Configure and initiate job sites within division systems, ensuring all project details are accurately entered and tracked.
Plan and Order Verification:
Review and verify builder plans and purchase orders for each job to ensure alignment with project specifications and requirements.
Plan Review and Modification:
Assess plans for any options or non-standard changes and collaborate with stakeholders to address and integrate these adjustments.
Equipment Coordination:
Work closely with the purchasing department to select appropriate equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project needs and specifications.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with division teams to schedule project milestones and coordinate the execution of work, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within the Electrical industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for verifying plans and managing project documentation. Proficiency in project management software and division-specific systems. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to Electrical projects.
