Permanent Compensation Range:
$135,000 – $150,000 base 12% bonus Job Description: Join a cross-functional team driving the design and implementation of new features within a clinical systems product, with a heavy focus on C development and risk mitigation. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Partner with clinical and systems engineers to understand feature requirements
Drive documentation and high-level design discussions
Propose, mature, and implement new features using C
Identify and mitigate risks throughout development
Pull and analyze data to inform feature development
Debug and investigate field issues
Work independently and proactively with various teams
Requirements: Must-Haves: 8 years of experience (staff level)
Strong C programming skills
BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Working knowledge of IEC 62304
Experience with Class II or III medical devices
Proven documentation skills and systems-level thinking
Excellent communication and self-starting attitude
Nice-to-Haves: Passion for developing innovative device features
Data analysis for feature development
Interest in system-wide improvements and collaboration
