About us: Recreation & Parks operates many state-of-the-art facilities to citizens throughout the City of Burlington. What you will do: The City of Burlington's Recreation & Parks Department is seeking a Center Facility Attendant for the Kernodle Senior Center. An employee in this position is responsible for assisting in the operations of the center and supervising/assisting with programs and special events at center. Examples of Duties
Supervises/assists with managing the physical building. This includes rentals, relaying maintenance needs and being aware of safety hazards. Manages the building in the absence of the Director/Asst. Director. Supervises/assists with programs and special events. Collects program fees. Assists participants, in person and via telephone, regarding center operations and resources for the population. Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in dealing with staff, participants, and outside agencies. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older Ability to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED Follows given responsibilities from center director Basic computer skills
