We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Projects SME with specialized knowledge of project financials and operations in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector. The role focuses on leveraging Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) to streamline project lifecycle activities-from planning and budgeting to cost control, billing, and reporting-across complex, multi-phase EPC projects.
• Proven experience working in project-based industries, particularly engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC project accounting, earned value tracking, budget revisions, contract compliance, and milestone billing.
• Experience with integration to Primavera P6 and familiarity with capital project management and AIA billing structures.
• Proficient in Oracle tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI/ADFDi, and reporting dashboards.
• Oracle Cloud PPM certification is a strong plus.
Roles & Responsibilities Serve as the functional expert for Oracle Projects modules: Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, and Project Financial Planning. • Design and implement project structures aligned with WBS, CBS, and project-specific contractual terms used in EPC execution. • Support integration between Oracle Projects and other modules including Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Primavera (P6). • Configure project costing, revenue recognition, budget controls, and forecasting models specific to EPC workflows. • Work closely with project managers, cost engineers, procurement leads, and finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of project costs, commitments, progress, and invoicing milestones. • Drive process improvements in change order management, subcontractor billing, retention handling, and client invoicing within Oracle. • Provide support through the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, and hypercare. • Develop training materials, conduct user training, and create documentation for business process mapping and Oracle configurations.
