Seasonal Skating Rink Supervisor
Oversee and maintain operations of the skating rinks. Ensure each facility is clean and safe in order to ensure skater safety. Expected Hiring Range: $17.00/hour - $18.39/hour Full Salary Range $17.00/hour - $22.39/hour Expected Start Date (weather dependent): 12/22/2025 Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for opening and closing facility during the hours of operations. Responsible for the overall supervision of the skaters, ensuring health and safety precautions are met. Maintain all equipment and supplies. Shoveling snow around warming house and off of the skating surface. Keep ice clear of debris and pick up trash in and around the building. Maintains proper documentation for all accidents, incidents, complaints, and participation. Season runs from mid-December through February. Hours consist of evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. 10-25 hours per week. While these areas are the primary focus of the position, we believe strongly in teamwork and employees may be called upon to perform a variety of duties in their roles with the City of Savage. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license as individuals may travel from park to park. Experience communicating with the general public is required. Current high school student or graduate. Entry-level position-City of Savage will train. Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience working in similar field. First Aid and CPR certification. Supplemental Information: Position is not benefit eligible.
