About the Opportunity
We're working with a well-established community-focused bank seeking an experienced
Credit Analyst
to join their collaborative credit team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a production-oriented, team-driven environment where credit and lending work closely together to deliver smart, relationship-focused solutions for their clients.
The bank is seeking individuals with strong experience in credit analysis, ideally across C&I, CRE, and SBA lending. Though the initial focus will be on C&I and CRE loans, the bank is working toward becoming a preferred SBA lender, so background with SBA loans would be helpful.

Analyze financial statements and supporting materials to assess creditworthiness. Prepare and present thorough credit analyses and recommendations to Relationship Managers, Loan Committees, and the Board. Collaborate closely with lenders to evaluate new business and annual reviews. Participate in client meetings when appropriate and help document calls. Mentor and support junior analysts as needed. Partner with other departments to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of credit analysis experience, preferably within banking. Strong knowledge of C&I, CRE, and SBA lending. Advanced understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other analytical tools. Candidates with backgrounds in accounting or data analytics will also be considered. Additional Details

On-site role Compensation:
As required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes that a salary range of $60,000 - $115,000 reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonus. Determining compensation for this role depends upon a variety of factors including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets and experience Office location and other geographic considerations Licensure and certification requirements Other business and organizational needs Training & Support:
