Lead credit underwriting for international and domestic clients with a focus on trade finance, C&I lending, and CRE, guiding risk decisions across markets Requirements: 5+ years of credit analysis experience in a banking environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA, CBCA, or MBA preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency—verbal and written Expertise in international credit risk, cross-border lending, trade finance, and CRE Strong proficiency with Moody's CreditLens, Bankway, AccuSystems, and Excel Experience preparing credit memoranda and presenting to credit committees Description: Conduct financial and risk analysis on domestic and international borrowers Underwrite credit facilities including CRE (up to $10MM), C&I, trade finance, leasing, and correspondent banking Evaluate macroeconomic, sovereign, and political risks impacting cross-border lending and assign/support internal ratings Prepare detailed credit memoranda and present findings to senior leadership/credit committee Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Legal, and Compliance throughout due diligence and documentation Monitor collateral valuation, covenants, and portfolio performance; support credit policy development Utilize DSCR, stress testing, and scenario analysis within established modeling frameworks Report to the Credit Manager in a high-visibility role with clear growth opportunities What Success Looks Like: You deliver clear, data-driven analyses that strengthen credit decisions. You balance risk management with business growth across trade finance, C&I, and CRE. You present with confidence to credit committees and senior leadership. You build trust with U.S. and Latin American clients through bilingual expertise.
