Office Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized
Office Assistant
to provide administrative and clerical support to our Client. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for the office, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Shift/Hours : Monday - Friday, Business Hours
Pay Range : $19 /hr Location : Fort Myers, FL Experience: 1 + years of Administrative experience
Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed.
Manage office correspondence, including sorting and distributing mail and preparing outgoing packages.
Maintain and organize office supplies, ensuring all necessary items are in stock.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and other documents.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the common office areas and conference rooms.
Serve as a liaison between different departments and external vendors.
Handle confidential information with discretion. Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A professional and positive attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems.
