Job Summary of the Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Production Team Member
2nd shift: We are looking for electrical-mechanical assemblers to join our team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality-minded.
We want to add team members who take pride in their work and have the ability to solve problems in a team environment. This job requires the understanding and assembly of cord reels, power reels, and hose reels including subassembly for each group to perform a variety of duties to do quality work from engineering blueprints, pack slips with written or verbal instructions to meet stock and sales orders for shipment. Assembly for compliance with company guidelines. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Production Team Member
2nd shift: Required to work with cable counter, resistance welder, drill press, pop rivet gun, power and hand tools, do hand assembly and repair parts. Required to do hand assembly, read a tape measure, dial calipers, and a weight count scale. Work with machines, power, and hand tools to produce, assemble, and repair parts. Must keep the equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform visual as well as physical inspection of the product, raw material, and purchased material to ensure quality work Examining and having a thorough knowledge of the engineering blueprint before a product or part can be made. Responsible for reporting accurate time on time cards. Must be willing to strive for new ideas, improvements, and quality standards. Education & Experience Requirements of the Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Production Team Member
2nd shift: Have 1-3 years of experience with electrical or mechanical assembly Have experience operating cut-off saws, drill presses (will train) Related experience in the use of industrial equipment Ability to read blueprints Must be able to use basic measurement devices High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
