Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dry Warehouse Order Picker, where you will play a crucial role in accurately selecting, stacking, and preparing orders for shipping. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
Starting at:
$19.50 per hour, plus incentive pay Essential Job Functions Select warehouse items efficiently while adhering to established labor standards. Properly stack products on pallets to optimize space and minimize damage. Cleans up spills and manages damaged merchandise effectively. Transport completed orders to the appropriate shipping area. Utilize specified procedures for handling out-of-stock items. Interpret pick lists to assemble the correct products accurately. Secure pallets for shipment to ensure safe delivery. Complete necessary paperwork efficiently. Ensure proper pallet placement on trailers for shipping. Deliver exceptional customer service to support our company mission. Attend scheduled shifts and adhere to time and attendance policies. Additional Job Functions Perform sanitation tasks as required. Assist with stocking slots. Operate a forklift if certified. Ensure pallet jacks are charged at the end of shifts. Occasional yard work may be required. Maintain confidentiality regarding company and personnel information. Utilize time management skills effectively. Follow all safety and security protocols. Equipment Used Electric-powered Pallet Jack Intercom System Forklift (if certified) Sanitation equipment Fire Extinguisher Communication Requirements Use the intercom for effective communication. Receive and complete tasks through headset communication. Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Working Conditions Typical warehouse environment with concrete floors and normal noise levels. Occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures. Free movement around the warehouse is expected. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs from floor to chest height. Ability to walk on concrete floors for extended periods. Engage in repetitive hand motions. Mental Demands Maintain alertness for safety and accuracy. Handle fast-paced and demanding situations effectively. Follow verbal and written instructions diligently. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Good physical condition and stamina.
