Aimbridge Hospitality
The role of the Revenue Manager is to identify and maximize all potential revenue opportunities for assigned hotels. This includes analyzing revenue potential generated by the transient and group market segments, as well as market segmentation within these segments. The manager will combine this analysis with catering, space utilization, and other revenue considerations to determine the appropriate business mix to achieve revenue goals. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as necessary to complete their responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime applies and is calculated accordingly.
Responsibilities
Qualifications: Previous supervisory responsibility preferred. High school diploma required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and email. Capable of creating documents, working charts, and spreadsheets. Understanding of hotel operations and yield management philosophy. Effective communication skills to convey information clearly. Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately, work well under pressure, handle guest objections, and disputes satisfactorily. Shows initiative, anticipates needs, and maintains composure under stress. Effective problem-solving skills, ability to assimilate complex information from various sources, and adjust as needed. Excellent listening skills to understand and clarify concerns of coworkers and guests. Ability to interpret financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions. Job Responsibilities: Present a friendly, service-oriented attitude when dealing with guests and employees. Maintain regular attendance, high standards of appearance, and grooming. Comply with company standards, regulations, and certification requirements such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR & First Aid. Manage business mix strategically, including making yield management decisions, updating CRS/GDS/PMS inventory, communicating strategy changes, and reviewing reports. Analyze prior night sales, address opportunities, and coordinate with the sales team on pricing and availability. Monitor hotel status throughout the day, adjust inventory controls, and ensure accuracy in rate quoting and restrictions. Collaborate with the strategy team on demand forecasting, performance analysis, and revenue opportunities. Update and review various reports such as HDA, Flash, CRO, and market share analyses. Facilitate weekly sales strategy meetings, prepare recaps, and communicate findings to leadership. Participate in budget, strategic pricing, and market planning processes. Attend meetings and training as required, and perform other duties as assigned. Property Details
