Directs and coordinates assigned product activities for various product line engines, including inventory management of owned/consigned engines, repair activities, vendor management, package reviews, purchasing, and sales of engines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Engine Product team and communicate performance expectations. Assign work, set priorities, and manage timelines. Oversee engine inventory in line with the company budget. Implement purchase activities as directed by senior management. Coordinate with the engine repair team manager. Manage asset purchases through teardown processes. Collaborate with suppliers, inventory, warehouse, and global teams to resolve logistics issues. Support sales via speculative and broker purchase activities. Expand and develop the supplier vendor base. Enhance product knowledge within the team. Ensure data standardization, interchangeability of parts, and data integrity regarding engine materials. Conduct research and technical studies. Utilize computer tools like Excel, Word, Engine IPCs, Service Bulletins, and Manuals for analysis. Ensure nonconforming product disposition aligns with quality procedures. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage 1-2 employees, overseeing their direction, coordination, and evaluation. Handle hiring, training, performance appraisal, development, rewards, discipline, and addressing employee concerns. QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 10+ years in sales, purchasing, technical, supervisory, or aviation-related roles; MBA preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to interpret technical journals, financial reports, legal documents. Respond effectively to inquiries from customers, agencies, and the business community. Present information clearly to management and boards. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Work with financial concepts like ROI, PBIT, etc. REASONING ABILITY
Define problems, analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret technical instructions. TRAVEL
