Overview CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager opening for our client in NYC, NY.
Location:
NYC, NY Duration:
6 months
Duties: Lead project teams in delivering transformational initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables in alignment with the project charter or contract.
Oversee project planning activities including project plan development, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure objectives are clearly defined, tracked, and achieved.
Provide risk management oversight, ensuring compliance with standards and mitigating issues proactively.
Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to manage complex projects.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Ability to develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of financial services sectors and solutions such as Risk & Compliance, Blockchain, Banking, Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Core Insurance, BPM, or Decision Engines.
Experience: 5+ years of experience managing projects within Financial Services.
Demonstrated success in leading large, complex, and multi-stakeholder projects.
Experience delivering technology-enabled solutions in at least one of the following areas: Risk & Compliance, Blockchain, Banking, Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Core Insurance, BPM, or Decision Engines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
