Overview CTG is seeking to fill a ADM Project Manager opening for our client in San Antonio, TX.
Location:
San Antonio, TX Duration:
3 months
Duties: Lead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom application development solutions or managing application maintenance and support.
Ensure projects are completed within defined scope, budget, and timeline while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
Coordinate resources across IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors to ensure effective allocation and project execution.
Implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools to monitor and control project activities.
Establish and execute effective communication plans, providing regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
Drive adherence to quality standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies and practices.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong vendor management and resource coordination capabilities.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in application development and maintenance (ADM) environments.
Demonstrated success in managing projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
Experience working with both custom development and application support initiatives.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
