We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Identity Services Engine (ISE) expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our campus and residential network ISE deployments. Key responsibilities include evaluating and migrating ISE to the latest version, targeting 3.4 or 3.5. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate IoT device management and Residential User Defined Networking using Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco ISE. The successful candidate will also be responsible for improving device profiling and access control by integrating ISE with FortiNet Firewalls, and working with security and networking teams to ensure secure connectivity for wired and server connections. The scope of this position includes large-scale campus and residential network ISE deployments, one for campus and one for ResNet, which are critical services requiring high availability and reliability. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the evaluation, migration, and optimization of our ISE deployments, while working closely with various teams to enhance security, automation, and access control. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) deployment and management, experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and ISE integration, and knowledge of network access control, device profiling, and secure connectivity. Strong collaboration and communication skills are also essential. * *Responsibilities The position involves a range of technical duties, including network services maintenance and support, security management, documentation and reporting, and team leadership and collaboration with network engineers, the service desk, and security. Senior Network Service Administrator will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure network access appliances, such as Cisco ISE. Integrate these appliances with other network systems, monitor infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot wireless and wired AAA connectivity issues. Perform regular network maintenance tasks, provide technical support, and manage campus network management software. Manage asset inventory, maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes, and generate regular reports on network performance and security incidents. QUALIFICATIONS
Expert-level experience and knowledge with Cisco ISE Expert knowledge of AAA (RADIUS, TACACS) Working knowledge of 802.1x, wired and wireless networking Experience with Virtual Infrastructure Technology like VMWare Experience with Network Security measures - ACL, TACACS+, Port Security * *Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) Experience with F5 Load Balancer or similar SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 - $204,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $51.77 - $98.13 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
