Santa Rosa, CA Must-Have Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (O365) and a solid foundational understanding of its applications Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to deliver white-glove support Excellent verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of printers, scanners, and related troubleshooting procedures Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience with Windows 7 and newer operating systems Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Exchange Understanding of ITIL frameworks Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles Exposure to Mac OS, iOS, and Android platforms Experience with telephony systems Background in medtech, biotech, or pharma environments, including clean room protocols Proficiency with Microsoft Intune Strong customer-facing experience Day to Day: A client in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a Help Desk Associate to join the team. In this hands-on IT support role, you'll be the go-to resource for resolving technical and application issues across a range of systems and devices. You'll assist users with personal computers, software, mobile devices (iOS, Android, iPads), and other IT equipment, while maintaining accurate records in the IT ticketing system (ManageEngine). Daily tasks include installing and supporting Windows and Mac operating systems, managing user accounts and access permissions, maintaining inventory, and supporting corporate meetings and conference room setups. You'll also handle mobile device management (MDM), phone systems, and procurement of IT equipment. Beyond technical support, you'll contribute to process development, enforce IT standards, and provide regular project updates and reporting. This role is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity in Santa Rosa, CA. Duties: Hands on problem resolution in matters of both technical and application support of Information Systems with general direction from management. Perform and/or assists users in technical matters pertaining to the use of personal computers, software, mobile devices or any IT related equipment. Responsible for logging and tracking all issues in the IT ticketing system (Manage Engine). Monitor open tickets assign as required. Installs, configures, supports and maintains all Windows and MAC operating systems. Maintain user accounts, groups and security access requirements for network drives and various software applications. Experience in configuring and support of mobile devices. (IOS, Android, iPad) Work with the mobile carriers to resolve end-user issues as needed. Knowledge of MDM to achieve standards. Maintain accurate inventory of all IT related equipment. Maintain a neat and organized working environment. Support Corporate Meetings and conference room setup as required. Responsible for generating purchase requisitions for end-user equipment and software. Supports Phone System and voicemail functions. Provide reporting analysis and communicate project status to appropriate parties on a regular basis. Contribute in the development of Information Technologies processes and procedures and lead by example by enforcing and following these processes. Deploy standard processes, tools and methodologies needed to effectively manage daily tasks. Perform special projects as required. Compensation: $20/hr to $25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
