Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager consultant with 8+ years of experience in driving product strategy, development, and delivery for clients in the healthcare insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping our clients define product vision, manage the product lifecycle, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives and market needs. This role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities. Responsibilities Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals. Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and healthcare insurance research to identify opportunities. Ensure product strategy is aligned with evolving industry trends and client needs. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration. Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver high-quality products. Prioritize product features and requirements based on business value and customer impact. Act as the primary liaison between product teams and stakeholders across the organization. Communicate product updates, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and business units. Facilitate cross-functional alignment to ensure product success. Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics. Track product success through KPIs, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction. Ensure ROI and long-term business value of product initiatives. Identify product risks, dependencies, and challenges, developing mitigation plans as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and quality expectations. Continuously improve product processes and delivery frameworks. Provide direction and mentorship to junior product managers, product analysts, and team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Encourage knowledge sharing and professional growth within the product team.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters degree preferred). Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in product management with demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale products or platforms. Industry Knowledge: Healthcare payor experience required. Background: Consulting experience in a large or mid-tier firm required. Certifications (preferred): Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent product management credentials. Strong knowledge of product management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices (Agile, Lean, Design Thinking). Proven ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and deliver results in dynamic markets. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering customer value.
