The primary duty and purpose of this position is to protect the Gateway Arch and subsequently all persons therein from incidents such as fire, theft, explosion, sabotage, trespass, accidental or willful damage and destruction, attempts to carry illegal contraband through security checkpoints, and terrorist activity.

Overview

Position focuses on security and protection at the Gateway Arch area and related duties as described above.

Responsibilities

• Protect the Gateway Arch and all persons therein from incidents including fire, theft, explosion, sabotage, trespass, and other forms of damage.
• Prevent unauthorized removal or transport of contraband through security checkpoints.
• Detect and deter potential terrorist activity and other security threats.
