Job Description
Opportunity: Grow Your Career. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include the operation of the scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards including operation of the scrubber and buffer
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom and Restrooms)
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies (including refilling essential items in Lounge, Restrooms and Front End)
• Cross-train in other areas of the store (Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, etc.)
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs
• Adhere to merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Adhere to operational and loss prevention controls and shrink reduction
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break policies
• Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Team-oriented, effective collaboration with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred
