It's that time when children's faces light up with anticipation, dreaming of the perfect costume for the year's spookiest night. However, for families transitioning away from homelessness, providing costumes for their little ones can be a daunting challenge. We need your help! Please support our abilities to provide an excellent Halloween by donating costumes! Clean out your closets and contribute to the magic! We're accepting new or gently used Halloween costumes suitable for children of all ages. Whether it's a superhero, a princess, a ghost, or a pirate - every costume can make a child's Halloween dreams come true. Looking for volunteer credit? Receive 2 hours of volunteer credit for every costume you donate (1 costume = 2 HR).
We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours. Your Impact:

Your generosity will ensure that no child has to miss out on the enchantment of Halloween. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA) YOU EARN FROM PARTICIPATING IN THIS VOLUNT
EER OPPORTUNITY: Planning and organization Reliability Empathy Creative thinking Assembling REQUIREMENTS: Costumes must be in working order and free from major tears, stains, or damage. Must be able to deliver costumes to our LAFH office during selected hours of operation. We will not be able to pick up donations. Before you drop off costumes, please email Volunteer@LAFH.org to confirm the date and time of your drop-off and the quantity of costumes being delivered.
