The successful candidate will demonstrate transformative leadership, forge impactful community connections, and foster an inclusive culture. Your primary responsibilities will include inspiring collaborative leadership, driving strategic plans, and influencing community and government stakeholders to achieve our mission. Although this role doesn’t have direct operational duties, your ability to engage and mobilize communities is critical. Candidates should possess a four-year degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Strong communication, influencing, and public speaking skills are essential, as is a proven history of successful fundraising and community partnership development. Familiarity with local issues, cultures, and demographics is vital, along with experience in adaptable, change-focused environments. Proficiency in MS Office is required. This Executive Director will collaborate closely with our Texas Leadership Team and must be ready for occasional regional travel and on-call availability during major disaster events.
