A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Tacoma, WA, offering a contract role for the current school year (CSY). This opportunity involves working directly with school-aged children to assess and support their speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Deliver targeted therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills Monitor, document, and report on student progress consistently Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate student care Engage and educate families to support the therapy process at home Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Washington or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team This role requires an active license and/or the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Washington. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional competence and a passion for helping children improve their communication skills.
