A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position, based in Wappingers Falls, NY, is designed for the full school year and offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse student population across grades K through 12.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals. Provide approximately 9 to 10 therapy sessions daily, each lasting 30 minutes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed. Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Location: Wappingers Falls, NY Hyde Park Education Center Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week This role is ideal for clinicians committed to making a positive impact on students' communication skills within an educational environment. Candidates with a background in both healthcare and school-based speech-language pathology services are encouraged to apply.
