This opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide full-time maternity leave coverage at a high school setting in Springfield, MA. The role spans from August through November, starting just as the school year begins, offering hands-on experience within a diverse student population of approximately 800 high school students.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct approximately 8 comprehensive student evaluations monthly to assess psychological, cognitive, and emotional needs. Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide consultation and counseling to students facing academic or socio-emotional challenges. Ensure compliance with school district policies and state regulations regarding student psychological services. Qualifications and Experience: Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field. Certification and licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts. Experience working with high school students and managing sizable caseloads. Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an educational team. Familiarity with special education law and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Location: Position located in Springfield, Massachusetts, within a high school environment.
