A full-time School Psychologist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at a high school from August through November. This contract position offers an opportunity to support students and staff during a critical transition period at a vibrant educational setting serving approximately 800 students.

Key responsibilities include: Conducting approximately 8 psychological evaluations per month to assess student needs and support individualized interventions. Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive strategies for student success. Providing consultation and counseling services to students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation. Monitoring student progress and adjusting supports as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Desired qualifications and experience: Masters or specialist degree in school psychology; certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with high school populations, particularly in conducting psychological evaluations and counseling. Strong understanding of educational and psychological assessment tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 800 students with professionalism and responsiveness. This role requires full-time availability (37.5-40 hours per week) starting in late August, aligning with the beginning of the school year. This position is ideal for a psychologist interested in short-term leave coverage within a supportive and dynamic secondary education environment.
