We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position for the current school year is based in North Aurora, IL, and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an elementary educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with elementary-aged students.
Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
Effective communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and educational professionals.
Ability to foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
