A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with expertise in Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) to support students in a group home setting. This part-time role allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth aged 14-21 by delivering both direct and indirect educational services.

Location: Dawson, GA (in-person work required) Key responsibilities include: Providing specialized instruction and behavioral support tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students' unique needs Collaborating with residential staff and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment Conducting indirect services with flexible scheduling to complement in-person sessions Maintaining detailed records of student progress and behavior Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students diagnosed with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities (EBD) Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills Ability to work effectively within a group home environment Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Schedule and hours: Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week In-person teaching hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Flexible scheduling for indirect service delivery This contract role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a specialized educational setting while positively impacting students during a critical stage of their development.
