We are looking for a passionate and committed Special Education Teacher to join our team. The right candidate will be dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment, and working closely with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that meet each students unique needs
Modify instructional strategies and materials to support various learning styles and abilities
Deliver direct instruction in academic, behavioral, and social skills
Partner with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations
Qualifications: Valid teaching license with appropriate special education endorsement
Prior experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team-focused environment
