A K-12 school in Narragansett, RI is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to one student on caseload for the current school year (CSY) contract. This position focuses on delivering targeted therapy sessions designed to enhance fine and gross motor skills within the educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct two 45-minute occupational therapy sessions per month for one student Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing fine motor and gross motor skill development Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support the students overall progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of the student within the school environment Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy Proficient in both fine motor and gross motor skill interventions Knowledge of home health OT practices is advantageous for communication and consistency of care Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation skills This contract role offers the opportunity to impact one students educational experience through focused, meaningful intervention.
