A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available to support an elementary school caseload in a dynamic educational setting located in Cleveland, TX. This contract position spans the current school year with an immediate start, running through May 28th. The role is designed for an experienced SLPA eager to contribute to student success through therapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
Assist in screening and identifying students requiring speech and language intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
Strong understanding of speech and language development in children.
Ability to follow treatment plans and work under SLP supervision.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
